Registration
Onsite pre-registration will be available during the welcome function, 17:30 – 18:30 on Monday 3 October, and regular registration available from 07:00 on Tuesday 4 October at the registration desk located outside the conference and exhibition rooms.
Welcome function
A welcome function will be held on Monday 3 October 2022 at 17:30 – 18:30 among the trade exhibition booths at the Hilton Brisbane
Conference dinner
The Mine Closure 2022 conference dinner will be held Wednesday 5 October at the Brisbane City Hall. A Walking party will meet at the conference registration desk in the Hilton Brisbane, leaving at 18:15 for 18:30 pre-drinks and a 19:00 dinner.

Please note: Guests will need to pay a deposit of one night upon booking, with the remaining balance paid at hotel. Cancellation is 3 days prior to your arrival.

Taxi and Rideshare
Get around the city easily with a taxi or rideshare. You can be dropped off to and from the Brisbane Airport with both services. Uber, Didi and Ola are all available in Brisbane.

Online attendees
While the Mine Closure 2022 conference is being held in-person, there is an online platform where presentations will be streamed via Teams. The URL for this online platform will be advised.

Parking
Delegates may choose to valet park for a flat rate of AUD$58.00 per vehicle, per day. Alternatively the Wintergarden, which is located within the hotel complex, has over 500 spaces. Secure Parking has direct access into the hotel via level five or level six. To view their rates click here.

Conference proceedings
The majority of presentations will be made available for all registered attendees, on-demand from 12 October until 9 January 2023. Mine Closure 2022 papers will be available at ACG’s Online Repository of Conference Proceedings prior to the event.
PD hours
This event will provide attendees with up to 33 personal development hours. A certificate of attendance can be provided on request, post-event.
